A friendly and casual service
 Here at First Methodist, we’ll make sure the first face you see when you approach the church has a smile on it. Whether you need childcare or are looking for a place for your teens, a greeter will be nearby to help you get where you need to go. But don’t worry about what you are wearing. We’re more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. So, dress casually and enjoy our upbeat music. First Baptist gives practical messages that help you deal with real life issues. We’ll even give you a handy outline with the Bible passages. What you learn on the weekend, you’ll be able to use during the week.

A safe place for your preschoolers
 Our Early Childhood department is a safe and loving environment for children birth through five years. Leaders give special care and attention to each child who is entrusted to them during the worship service. Jesus' love, radiating from our leaders, helps your children feel church is a happy place where they are loved and secure.

A fun place for kids
Every weekend, kids are greeted as they enter  elementary classrooms by our warm and friendly team of leaders. You can hear the energetic sounds of worship as children learn to praise God in their own words. They'll hear Bible lessons presented in an interactive, creative way so they'll be able to apply those truths to their lives. Your kids will sense the love of God coming from dedicated adults who are committed to serving Jesus by leading kids. |
A cool place for teens to connect
 God has a purpose for your teens! They don't need to wait until they are adults to make their life count! Whether your teen is in high school or junior high, we'll bring a biblical message of hope and challenge to them every week. We use cutting edge videos, fun games and music that rocks to shatter the stereotype that church has to be boring. We offer an exciting church experience geared specifically for either your junior high or high school teens.

As our guest, you'll get one of the best spots in our lot! As you come through the entrance turn your flashers on and move into the right lane. That'll let us know that you're a guest. Friendly parking attendants will direct you to one of our preferred parking spots. |

How to try out this site...
Log in as admin and edit me. When you've finished editing click the 'Update' button at the bottom left of the page to commit the changes to the live web site.
All of the basic editor functions should be operational. Please note that IE 5.5+ running under Windows is currently required to use the General Content Editor. However, HTML editing is still allowed via the HTML box that appears below the Text Editor.
To Login as a typical reader of the site...
No login required...what you see is what you get.
To Login as a member of the site but with no Administration privileges...
On the Login page in the box labeled email, type in 'member' and type 'member' as the password. This allows you to see some pages that the general public cannot see, such as, the member phone list page. To logoff and try another login just click on 'Log off' in the Menu.
To Login as an administrator...
On the Login page in the box labeled email, type in 'admin' and type 'admin' as the password. You will notice that all the modules on each page now have markings that allow you to change the contents of the modules. Also you will notice that there is a new page called 'Admin' that was not there before. This is where you can change all of the basic site structures and permissions. Please be kind to others who might want to use the site and leave the site much the way you found it. Thanks. To logoff and try another login just click on 'Logoff' on the Login page. |
